Whether you’ve recently upgraded your plan or switched to a different one, you may notice that:
your subscription plan may not/takes a long time to update
your subscription plan reverts to the old plan
the web app isn’t fetching the posts your saved prospects recently published on LinkedIn
Here are all the possible reasons why any of the above could have occurred, and how clicking the ‘Sync Account’ button helps:
1. Data Synchronization Takes Some Time
Once you’ve upgraded or switched plans, it may take a few minutes for the change to reflect on LinkedIn. Clicking Sync Account speeds up the process, allowing the change to take effect instantly.
2. Recently Logged Out of LinkedIn Account
Since logging out of LinkedIn will cause your cookie to expire, the data we have on your Engage AI account will no longer be up-to-date. By clicking on Sync Account once you’ve logged into LinkedIn again, it allows the update to take effect instantly.
3. Multiple LinkedIn Accounts on the Same Browser Profile
As you will need to log out of one account to switch to another LinkedIn account, it will cause the previous account’s cookie to expire. By clicking on Sync Account once you’ve logged into LinkedIn again, it allows the update to take effect instantly.
However, we recommend using a different browser profile and Engage AI account for each LinkedIn account. Here’s why:

4. Multiple People Using Your LinkedIn Account in Different Locations
If you have others managing your LinkedIn account on your behalf, you and the others are likely to log out after you’re done with your session for account safety reasons, causing the LinkedIn cookie to expire. By clicking on Sync Account once you’ve logged into LinkedIn again, it allows the update to take effect instantly.
